The trolley will resume operations in Spring 2018.

The City of Kenosha’s seasonal Lakefront Trolley operates on a route from the Pennoyer Park bandshell on the city’s north side, through downtown and south to Kemper Center.

The rubber-tired trolley departs at 1:45 p.m. from the north end of Pennoyer Park at Seventh Avenue and 35th Street, and is scheduled to arrive at the southern end of its route 30 minutes later at Kemper Center, 6501 Third Avenue.

The trolley route passes several art galleries near the Union Park neighborhood. Other highlights on the route include the Kenosha History Center, the Civil War Museum and the Kenosha Public Museum. At 15 minute intervals, the trolley is scheduled to reach the downtown transit center, 724 54th St.

There are marked stops for the “Lakefront Trolley” along the route, but people also can flag down the driver for pick up.

Fares are $1 for adults and $.50 for children.
