Do you wish you had more time, but only have one day to spend in the Kenosha Area? Are you wondering what you should do, or what not to miss on during your visit? Well, here are a few suggestions to put on your summer itinerary that will make the most of your day trip to our area!

Visit Kenosha HarborMarket, a bustling European-style market. Afterward, stop next door to see mammoths at the Kenosha Public Museum and “Seeing the Elephant”, an immersive 360-degree film at the Civil War Museum.

Enjoy a fun-filled baseball game at the historic Simmons Field and root for the home team, our Kenosha Kingfish! Don’t forget a selfie with their lovable mascot, King Elvis!

Learn candy-making secrets during the free indoor train tour at Jelly Belly Visitor Center. Guess the flavors at the Smell Station, one of several interactive games and exhibits!

Have lunch — with a side order of serious cheese shopping — at the legendary Mars Cheese Castle, which doubled in size in 2017.

On summer weekends, step back in time to 16th Century England at the always-popular Bristol Renaissance Faire.

Take the kids (and kids-at-heart) to Choo Choo Charlie’s, a fun eatery in Kenosha’s historic Metra Station. Watch their eyes light up when their meals are delivered to your table aboard a model train!

After enjoying your day in the Kenosha Area, you’ll already be planning your next visit. Be sure to include Kenosha’s authentic Electric Streetcars, the famous Brat Stop and Franks Diner, and Tall Ship Red Witch on that itinerary! Find more itinerary ideas at VisitKenosha.com.
