On September 3, 2016, a third business joined Kenosha’s burgeoning craft brewery scene: R’Noggin Brewing Co. R’Noggin is owned by brothers Jeff Bridleman and Kevin Bridleman and their dad Dan Bridleman. Why that name? “Whatever comes out of R'Noggin is what we are brewing,” explains Jeff. “Our small family brewery features hand-crafted beer in a fun friendly casual atmosphere. Our goal is to provide good drinkable brews no matter the style. We brew on average four barrels of beer per week.” R’Noggin Brewing Co. is located just off of Interstate-94 on the East Frontage Road at 6521-120th Avenue.

Why did the brewery open? Jeff explains: “Well the obvious answer is everyone deserves a delicious, fresh, extremely drinkable beer and we want to be that provider. Seriously though, home brewing became an instant passion for us and soon consumed most of our weekends. We were brewing as much as we possibly could, honing our craft. We shared our barley pops with family and friends at birthday parties, graduation parties and a wedding and the feedback we continually received was "you guys should open your own brewery". So the next flame was lit.”

What does the brewery offer? “We have five tappers in the tasting room and our "What's On Tap" board changes about every two weeks,” according to Jeff. “In our first year we brewed 34 different beers, so there is usually something new and different on tap.  Customers can also check our website for the most up to date information regarding what's on tap for that day at www.rnogginbrewing.com.”

New beer releases are the main focus of the brewery’s special events, according to Jeff. “We hire local bands and book local food trucks for our bigger beer releases so our customers can enjoy our new beer, eat some delicious food and be entertained. Our "parking lot parties" as we call them are in high gear during the spring, summer and fall months. Some of our bigger events this past year were when we hosted the Kick-Off To Kenosha Craft Beer Week Party in May and R'1st Anniversary Party in September.”

“The brewery is also available for private events,” Jeff notes. “We can host parties for up to 47 people in the winter and a lot more during the summer (with outdoor seating).”

You can bring food in or have it delivered, as food is only served when local food trucks are on site during events.

Next time you’re in town, check out R’Noggin Brewing Co. and see what the brewers’ noggins have come up with now!
