Wilmot Mountain1 - Wilmot Mountain

Whether you’re ready to whip out your skis, or head over to the snow tubing hill, Wilmot Mountain is your winter adrenaline rush destination! Wilmot Mountain makes their own snow, so you can enjoy all of the winter wonderland realness regardless of if flakes are on the forecast. With 13 million dollars worth of recent renovations, the resort is home to 120 skiable acres, 23 unique trails, five chairlifts, a newly transformed terrain park, a 22-lane tubing area, and a state-of-the-art ski school for children and adults! 2 - Boundless Adventures

Boundless AdventuresThe Aerial Adventure Park of your DREAMS is located right here in Kenosha County! Located in Bristol Woods Park, Boundless Adventures is the largest aerial park in the Milwaukee-Chicago area! There are 9 different courses ranging in difficulty. They will test your balance, strength, stamina, and agility for both the mind and body! The seasonal park is perfect for singles, couples, families, birthday parties, field trips, and just about any group! Boundless Adventure has a mission to empower and inspire its guests physically, and mentally.

In addition to the ropes courses, you can also channel your fiercest lumberjack energy, grab your flannel, and get to axe throwing! There will be instructors there to guide your experience safely with safe throwing cages, and authentic wood targets ethically sourced from dead trees in Bristol Woods. You must be accompanied by a parent or guardian if you are under 18, and we do recommend you get a reservation to secure your spot. Watch for Boundless Adventures to re-open for a new season in April.

Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets is located right off of I-94 & Highway 165. This is the perfect outdoor strip mall vibe for those looking for a deal on tons of favorite brands! Have you ever seen a Lake Michigan Sunrise? If the answer is no, move that to the very top of your itinerary….now!  Ground yourself with the simple things in life that end up being the most beautiful!

 

Petrifying Springs Park in fall5 - Walk it out!

Clear your mind and head over to Downtown Kenosha for a walk along the Lake Michigan harbor. The lake-side views are perfect for moving your body, relaxing your mind, or enjoying time with loved ones. You can even take a look at the Downtown Kenosha storefronts and grab a coffee! That’s not all, there are also beautiful trails you can walk to experience the beauty of nature in the Midwest.  Head over to Petrifying Springs Park, Richard Bong State Recreation Area, Hawthorn Hollow Nature Sanctuary and Arboretum (re-opens in March), the Pike Bike Trail, and more!

 

Hot Mess Studios6 - Splatter Away

Looking to let go and welcome in the mess? Hot Mess Studios is a MUST! It is a safe space for you to be your own artist free of judgment. Hot Mess is the place to find your inner child and throw, splatter, and spray your paint!  You can even try out popping balloons filled with paint tacked to a canvas which you can puncture with the provided darts! There are other “tools” to hurl your paint across the canvas, the room, or maybe even at your fellow splatterers. Enjoy this exhilarating and freeing experience with friends, family, or on your own!

 

7 - Pottery Painting

If you’d rather paint pottery, check out Alpaca Art located in Downtown Kenosha! You can walk in anytime and relax while you paint the item of your choosing.
